Mold & Mycotoxin Tested Coffee

Looking for mold-tested coffee? Every coffee here is from Artizan Coffee Roasters, which tests every green-coffee lot for four mycotoxins (Ochratoxin A, Aflatoxin B1, Fumonisin B1 and T-2), keeps moisture below 12.5% and roasts above 415°F, per Artizan's FAQ.

How to choose

• Organic: Artizan lists every coffee here as certified organic. The Cuba Mia, Guatemala, Stout and Ethiopian bags and the Honduras and Rwanda pods are also Fair Trade.
• Taste: Choose single origins like Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Rwanda or Ethiopia, or Cuba Mia, Notte Forte and Stout for a bolder cup. The Caramel capsules are caramel-flavored.
• Whole bean or ground: The 10 oz bags come whole bean or ground for French press, drip or espresso (Stout is whole bean or coarse only). Capsules fit Nespresso Original machines, not Vertuo.
• Bag size and value: Bags are 10 oz, from $19.95. Capsules come in boxes of 10, from $8.95 a box, roughly 90¢ to $1.20 a cup.
